got my new $150. festiva!!!

so i figured id post up some picks of my new $150. festiva, its my second one and cant wait to tear into her! ha. any ways she's a 1989 festiva L, 140,000. miles, interior is omost flawless, the body is beautyfull minus a few dings and a lil quarterpanel rust which i dont mind beings im a body man. the only bad thing is is that the engine threw a rod bearing, but thats ok for me cause like i said i paid $150. for the car and ive been looking for a desent festiva to tear totally down and build a nice black festiva with somekind of boosted swap. perfect starter i think... im not gona list what im gona do yet cause i got a few projects to rap up first. im just happy she's gonna be there when im ready. lol, i love these little cars!!

Does the other side and front and back look this well ?

thanks, yeah here are some more pics, little quarter panel rust and a few dings (easy fixes tho) ive seen and fixed way worse. going super gloss black every little thing will show so i got alota work cut out for me on this one. plus for the price it was a no brainer, around my area all the festivas are super beat up, the 93 in my avitor cost me an arm and leg cause it was damn near flawless...

It looks just like my car Booger, except Booger is an EFI auto. Thats worst than a four speed, except the EFI part.

finally gota motor!!

ok so ive been really busy with 5 other projects, moving, and holidays. i just picked up a efi engine out of a 91 w/ 140,000. miles. i payed $80. wow. so now my ? is should i swap out my harness and manifold to the new motor and drop it in or beings mines and L find a junked efi and get the harness, ecu, ect... to make it work? id like to drive the car soon so im thinking the quickest way posible for now. what would you do?.....

Why does it have the red stripe on the side moldings if just an L? Is it black or dark gray? My 88 LX looked just like it!

i duno, its dark metallic grey and its an L. and never been painted that i no of, maybe someone added the stripe??...
