  • How it all happened...

Every year, Amber and I go to her family reunion. It's a good time, there's always amazing food, and this year I had an extra surprise. It was August 2nd, a day before our 6 year anniversary of being together. So, we're celebrating the ability to gather as a family, and I'm planning to begin my own.

When all the pictures were over, I got down and asked Amber if she'd marry me... And I don't remember what I said. It was my heart beating and her crying that got me lost in words...

And of course, she said yes and it was a wonderful surprise. I've been blessed (well, mostly) to have spent the last 6 years with Amber and I hope that I can spend the next 6, or 60, with her too.
