hey guys i have always been a festy fan i have had two in the past from what i can find in new england people either love em or junk em well about a month ago i went up to this kids house because i noticed he had a four door aspire sittin under a tree in the front yard. So i though bingo parts for the festy 1.3L EFI w/ 5 speed nice!!! so I went up there knowing it sat there for at least three years that ive been in the area and asked him if he wanted me to remove it from his yard since i was broke im not payin for it... he told me he was sellin it for a few hundred dollars and and just put in on craigslist (which he didnt). so i told him i wanted it but i wasnt gonna pay for something i knew probably didnt run so i told him if he didnt sell it in a month i was gonna come back and take it off his hands for him (mind you im a big guy so intimidation factor was deff on my side) so he nevously agreed so today he comes over across the street and hand me the title and the key and says its mine SCORE now i just hope it runs he says it does but we will see...

word its really clean it has no rust and the paint is remarkable its like this big tree gaurded it from sun light and kept it nice. Yea its dirty but other than that its pretty mint i replaced the oil,pvc valve, spark plugs and it came w/ an interstate battery which im chargeing as we speak plus added a whole bottle of marvels to the gas tank before i even fired it over an BANG it fired over like it was a daily driver and i drove it on out of the spot it sat for how knows how long... cool more parts for my festy and a new daily driver

you could always sell it for more than what you need to buy an aspire swap if its real clean and runs well

Nice!! Can't beat the price. Even if it never runs, you've just gotten a free Aspire swap for the 88. Hope all goes well when you slap the battery in and hit the key. :thumbleft:

that seems to be the only problem i need a battery the interstate that was in it is dead bad cell works when you jump it but it wont turn it over o well ive got tons a parts to use and winter tire came on the aspire nice is the frame on the aspire the same as the festy?
