What hooks up to this coupler. It is behind a blank plate on dash next to where i put the toggle switch. Is this for the code reader by any chance.

Based on its location, I'm going to guess prewire for a power mirror option. Just a guess tho, never had one that would have been optioned for power mirrors. That blank is where the mirror switch would go, I believe.
