i used a B6 for a while a few years ago and i would say they are as reliable as the B3

    1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

for a b6d? If your wiring it like a b6t use the capri distributor. I never had a problem with the disty on mine. The only problems with mine were with the hydro clutch conversion.

^^ I think you have confused us all that you are wanting to do a DOHC swap, and not a SOHC

what do you mean by "wiring it like a b6t " is that using the complete b6t harness ?

Wiring should be straight forward. You have the donor car so just pull the whole harness and use it.

i would but i dont really wanna pull the dash and go threw all that. id rather splice a few here and there. everything i know about cars has been self taught and its not much lol.

Yeah you would be splicing alot & running extra wires IIRC

The harness just goes thru the firewall and then into the computer. I don't think you have to pull the dash but if you do you will have learned more before attempting this swap.
