Motorcycle Cargo Trailer :idea:
Hey! :idea: I was thinkin' about getting one of those trailers that motorcycles pull behind 'em to use for road trips, but I was wondering if the B3 would have enough oomph to pull one? I know that the Honda Goldwings pull 'em but they've also got like 1400cc motors... Says the trailers weigh about 200 lbs.

Yeah, you'd be amazed what cars can do if really necessary. My Subaru Loyale, a medium-sized car with a little 1.8 L motor, pulled 2000 lbs worth of trailer plus stuff in the car from OR to VA. Even over steep parts of the Rockies--once I even had to go down to first gear! No doubt this shortened the clutch life, but still.

Well the B3 has more lb-ft of torque than hp. I really am surprised at how well it does climbing for how little power it has. Obviously weight is a big factor too though. I think it should suffice. I can't say for sure, just how it seems to me.Comment
