Seems like there's a few former Miata nuts on this site. Glad to see you got the best one for you!

So, for about the same price as a fully-loaded 1993 Ford Festiva, you could also wield the power to obliterate a small village in the blink of an eye.

Not former, as we still have 4 Miata's. The wife has a nice clean 99 she enjoys, and I have a built 94. Just wanted to try something different based off the same motor. Hope to be able to contribute to the group!

I stripped a 94 over the Winter, so there are plenty of parts to choose from. Obviously the block/head, and hoping maybe seats, gauges, wheels etc. Will see what fits and what doesn't.

I'm planning on using 2nd Gen Miata seats in my festiva. Custom mounts, but that's not much when I think about all the other work I'll be doing

Look forward to finding more options to add.

So I was wandering around the junk yard today (everything 1/2 price for the weekend). Was looking for 4x4 axles.

Ended up finding a 1991 Festy with a tach dash already pulled out and sitting there! Also had nicer door panels, center console, etc. All sorts of goodies!

The big kicker was finding a turbo Capri that was nearly COMPLETE! Someone hit a curb really hard with the right front wheel and put it into the fender. Got towed to the yard. Engine and tranny should be in good shape as it was running recently. I pulled the engine and trans. Got most of what I need, but I know not everything. Someone had pulled the air box and coil/ignitor. Other than that, it was complete including the turbo and intercooler! Pics to follow!

Nice score. Better get the engine harness and ecm from it also.

When someone took the ignitor and air box, they cut the harness. I need to go back for the ECM. I just barely made it out as they were closing. Anything else I should grab? Any of the "parts" on the firewall? Tomorrow is still 1/2 price day.
