  • Protege Pwr windows on festy ?

I heard there are certain years of Protege you can swap the power window setup in to the Festy ? True ? Any one ever do it ?

elcamino swapped protege power windows into his festiva but i'm not sure what it took to make it work

    1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

If I remember right he was able to use a couple holes but had to drill a couple new ones - I cant remember what year he said they were off of though. I know he ran wiring into the doors to do it though if I'm remembering he had the switches mounted on the door as well. they work pretty slick - I've seen them in person.

I found a pic of the outside - I cant find one of the inside though
I cant remember if he said the window goes down all the way I think he said all but an inch

I've seen them in person as well, and i know he (at one point) used the hole in the door panel for mounting the window switches, but i know since then he bought armrests with the switches in the armrests
