this is the first time i did a hdr effect and i think it came out pretty slick....i bet this effect would be awesome on an old rusted festy...but anyways enjoy..let me know if u like it :0

That IS pretty decent for a first time. Not bad at all pyro!
A trick to things along this line is blending and using the stamp/heal stamp tools to even out some of the rougher contrasts, but overall, I like it GJ!

fyi to make an hdr effect you have to take 3 photos 1,high contrast,2,low contrast,3regular...you are suppose to set up a tripod and adjust ur camera to 3 diff settings.....as i only had 1 pic to work with i had to simulate the other 2 pics with highlights and shadows....oh well still is not a bad job

Possibly, but I doubt it. Can you save the image as a .tiff and transfer it to me via email? I can see if I can save it as a .jpg or .png in GIMP. It's much easier to manipulate file types with.-Caleb
