When I had my Comp Prep SVO in the Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords 2.3 turbo shootout, there was a '49 Ford that was driven from Michigan and then raced. It had a junkyard 2.3 turbo motor. It got over 30 mpg and ran well into the 13s! His Mustang with a 2.3 Turbo now runs in the 9s...The motor in my Turbo Coupe went over 280,000 miles before it was tore down and doesn't even need bored oversize!! Don't knock the 2.3 Turbos, they are damned tough!! There is a street driven SVO in Texas that runs in the 8s...

900 hp on a 2.3 wow!! i knew some where pretty quick. how hard is it to build a 2.3 to make 900 hp? does it have the volvo head? my buddy has a 2.3t mustang he has a lot done cut and rotated intake, log manifold, i cant remember what else it pulls pretty good but i think the festiva with b6t would be a close race. maybe i should of built a 2.3....

bah i blame you for catching the mustang svo bug now!!!
grajfkajfafhalkfhaakhfafkjafkljalfal...........any ways fox bodys do look sexy now.
Though i did venture to mustang svo forum to check on it...seems to me parting out these mustangs is a holy sin.
