"When we tell everyone about the new Ford Fiesta, they think we're talking about the Festiva. We don't want you to make the same mistake.

On the left you will find the stunning Ford Fiesta -- on the right is a ratty old Festiva. (Hood scoop gives it a few points.) No comparison!"

So of course i stepped up to the plate and defended the festiva...

It's all about priorities isn't it. What other car is as reliable for as little, esp. used??? And capable of hybrid-type mileage at that. Design-wise, there are some things we would have done differently, like front brakes for example, but it's easy to work on and cheap to keep running and to fuel. Plus when we stick bigger motors in it, it can really shock some people. "Hey, wsn't that one of those little throwaway cars that just went by in a blur?" Reminds me a lot of the original Mini, and I think it draws that kind of following.
90 Festy (Larry)--B6M (Matt D. modified B6 head), header, 5-speed, Capri XR2 front brakes, many other little mods
09 Kia Rondo--a Festy on steroids!

Nice! I know a girl that was a winner of the fiesta movement here in charlotte...she probably doesn't even know what a festiva is

Edit: Just found one of her mission videos.....I'm pretty sure that at around 0:58 when she says "Look at all this junk", there is probably a festiva in the background....haha

                    Sic em Paul ...LOL !!

Correct on all points ...It goes both ways, festiva owners are insulted when people call their festiva a fiesta too.
