As I mentioned in another thread, vacuum advance on my Japanese SOHC B6 seemed faulty. Unlike the Festiva advance the B6 advance is single chamber.
I took it apart:
And there was a hole (I stuck screwdriver in the hole to make it show up in pic):
I have an adjustable vacuum advance for an old Chev V8 that I am going to replace it with . Already made a little bracket, need tiny bit welding to put tip off B6 advance onto arm on Chevy one. Needs to be welded, no real way to clamp it. Naturally my house electric isnt working right today so welder isnt working, one leg of the 220V circuit isnt powered so only have 120V at the 220V outlet.
