  • What is the sti connector?

    What is the sti connector? What does it do? Why do you ground the sti connector to adjust ignition timing or so?

    you disconnect it to take the computers timing control away. And to set the base timing.

        You don't accurately time the engine, so why bother if your not going to follow the needed protocol.

          I never used the iso connector to time the engine. Never had any problems.
          But Which wire should I ground? I would like to know.

            I have a question for someone that have used the sti connector to time the engine. When you ground the sti, does the timing advance a little bit automatically? Pls answer
