are the headlights for the mazda 121 an upgrade to the stock North America Festiva?

Edit: so the 121 headlights are the same as kia pride...

I would like a set of 121 lights like the attached pic- you have to grab the lights the eyelids and the markers and grill - also if you find a funtop grab the front air dam and bracketing for me - I can give you pics of how it comes off and if you can grab the top as well also grab the emblems off the 121s you can also find the different festiva emblem like the other pic
Last edited by Festiva_tunner; 09-02-2009, 02:19 PM. Reason: added emblems

I beleive the Kia pride was never available in Australia (i'm not sure though) but the 121's were available there

Here's a few pics of the different grilles

              The Mazda 121 grille

This is the early style kia pride grille

              The later style Pride grille

I want to get either the 121 grille or the later style pride grille

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

                  I would like a rear badge as-well.

Problem with the aussie headlights is that its set-up for RHD so you will be blinding oncoming traffic.

And yes the 121 lights are far better than what we have here. My wife has the 121 setup on her festy

121 Headlights ARE NOT the same as a Kia Pride. I don't believe Austrailia has any Prides. They do have the Festiva and the 121. If you get a 121 grill it HAS to use the 121 headlights and corner lights, the Festiva won't work. The 121 grill goes around the headlights AND around the corner lights too. It is as wide as the front end of the car. Also in Austrailia the Festiva's hhave smooth clear corner lights that will work in the US Festiva's.
