  • Im now one of you guys..

    Well after a year of searching i found my first festiva. Thank god for CL
    its a 92 heres the link. will be getting it tomorrow. no rust on the frame at all. hatch is rusted and so is the hood. got another motor in it. cant wait to dig into it this week end will post up pics tomorrow. Wheres a good place to get headlights as there is rust in the originals.

              i was surpised too but found out the owner had the car towed behind an rv so that counts for the miles. built a hitch into the front bumper to tow along with. has another motor in it now.. going to up grade to a b6 soon any way. most part is to replace clutch first.

                Man, that's more miles than both mine together! Little over 300k on one, and over 200k on the other. These cars are beasts!

                  Interesting. Would be curious how many miles the engine has on it, versus total mileage. Still, looks like a nice car to work with. Nice snag.

                    the oringinal engine was replaced at 500k now has another motor in it. said it had 60k when installed. odometer shows 615k + but for near 700k miles on body its in darn good shape. better than what ive seen on others with only 130k

                      Yeah, definitely looks good considering the mileage, no doubt. Just saying I wonder what the split would be between running miles and rolling miles. There's no way to know, I understand. I'm just stupidly curious like that.:tard:

                            update: wont be getting it till saturday evening after the buckeyes game....
                            brother couldnt help me today. have to dolly it back cause of no exhaust on it. cops are major aholes here.
