  • Festiva made the "Ultimate Automotive Survivors" list on Jalopnik.

While the Beetle, Ambassador, Mini, and 2CV each enjoyed more than four decades of production in pretty much their original form, we mustn't overlook the other long-term survivors of the automotive world.

Nice to see these people really like the Festiva. Awesome list too.
    Current cars:

1993 Ford Festiva 5-Speed - Festiclese III - Cousin of the Banhammer - "The Jalopnik Car"
    1984 Toyota Cressida - 2JZGE Swap, Turbocharged.
2013 Mazda Mazda2 - Exhaust and Wheels (the daily)
    2002 Toyota Tundra - V6/Auto/2WD - The Tow Vehicle.

They reuse alot of pics from the "24 Hours of LeMons" race they sponsor, it was probably one of the race cars from this year.

That is a great article. My only question, if they were still making them(festiva/pride)until recent, there must be a huge selection of aftermarket parts. Why can't anybody, including myself, seem to be able to find them? Its like they love the car so much they wont even let the world know about it.
