Felt good, though, I would have rather been in the driver's seat!
For everyone else...I went over to Tom's (TominMo) today in my Festiva and checked out Tom's Festy's and took a ride in Casper. Now I can feel me wanting to build a Festiva. I like being pushed back in my seat from g-force!But I think i'll keep it stock for awhile. Heck, I just bought rims for the festiva bolt pattern and if I build i'd have to get different rims. Looking forward to meeting all who show at St. Louis meet.

I didn't know your driving ability until afterwards when we talked some more...but I'm concerned about the stock trans with that much power, so I baby it. A little reluctant to have good, aggressive drivers get behind the wheel.

And you are right on, not letting that tranny feel all the HP. No sense destroying a good tranny!

Which gives me a thought, when are we puttin' in a G25 tranny? haha!

Speed shifts can be hard on any tranny. I once broke the main shaft in my 4 speed on my '76 Camaro speed shifting. Slightly of time going into 3rd, bam!!
then 3rd was ALL I had!
