  • what to replace first !!

    i just bought a 93 festy gl with 140k !!what should i replace first!!

    here is what i got so far !!! let me if i forgot something

    spark plugs
    oil
    oil filter
    air filter
    ac belt
    timing belt
    fuel filter
    spark plug wire set

    Well if your replacing the timing belt might as well do the water pump

      In addition, do the camshaft seal and crankshaft seal too while you're at it. Oh, and the timing belt tensioner.

        Cap and rotor, if youre going to do a tune up might as well replace it all.

          PCV valve, clean out your IAC valve, do a check on the brakes and suspension as well. There has been plenty of failure of LCA balljoints....

            Most definitely check the ball joints mounted on the LCA.

              Change the brake fluid. It absorbs moisture and in two years it becomes 20% water. I got and old turkey baster and suck the old fluid out of the master cylinder reservoir. The fill it up with fresh fluid and bleed them out.

                What they said, plus I'd check steering rack boots, CV boots, definitely look over brake lines. Both soft and solid. Pretty much give the whole suspension a good looking over.
