I was looking through my big box of crap parts out of the Capri and I got to thinking maybe we could use the shifter out of it for a shorter throw shifter, anyone try it?

I put it up next to the festiva shifter and it definitely was lower but I dont know if the throw is physically shorter (because neither linkages are hooked up to trannies).Current cars:
