12" winter tires ?s

My 13" rims are all from the JY and have old tires with decent tread. If I keep Blue at all, I might just put the winter tires on my 13s, since I have plenty of regular 12" tires with good tread. What I'd really like to do is find four more 13" rims and get out of the 12"-rim situation altogether; then I could buy actual good-quality 13" tires, and not be stuck with the very limited choices for 12" tires.

Sounds like a great idea!

I have 13" wheels for the winter with those Hankook studded snow tires and 14" with Toyo T1R's for the summer.

Last time I checked (6 months ago), 12" studded snows were still readily available here in Anchorage, where we have snow on the ground for half the year. You might contact Johnson Tire here and ask where they're getting them. If they come from China, the ship would surely unload somewhere in the Pacific NW first, since AK doesn't consume enough stuff for trans-Pacific ships to stop here.
