  • Went and looked at a festiva

    Found this one just a few miles south of work today. 71,000 miles on it. Zero rust but has some issues. Im looking for something solid for my BP build. Sorry phone pics.

        is that surface rust on the hood/fender, or a reflection?
        Trees aren't kind to me...

        currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),
        94 Justy 4WD, 87 Fiero GT, plus 2 parts cars. That's my fleet.

          Surface rust for sure in the front, I meant none of the structural variety rust. Very solid unibody.

            Look at the rear trailing arms. That's rust. Not trying to bust your bubble Fresh, but it's not rust free.

              Either way, no rust, or just a little. It still has lots of potential, and looks to be a very solid car. Keep us updated on the progress.

                      Looks like a good start.
                      -93' L BP swap/e-series, coilovers, RIO front swap, redrilled festy drums, Miata 14" 7 spokes.
                      -88' Mazda 323 SE, work in progress..
                      -85' Nissan Sentra 5 spd.

                          Ya i think i remember hearing something like fresh saying "i'm the guy who said i'd never do an engine swap" now that he's done one engine swap a whole new festiva bug has bitten him right on the a... butt
