It is not that hard you just need to remove 5 bolts, 9 screw, the 2 plugs behind the cluster the speedo cable plug, the 3 vent control wire and a couple of plug on the driver side and maybe a couple of other misc. plug that I forget about.

BPT, G5M-R, BP26 Exintake swap + Fidanza cam gear, NSRT4 FMIC + 2.5" piping, HKS SSQV BOV, Exedy clutch, 3" downpipe + 2" all the way back, Aspire brake swap, KYB GR-2 & FMS coil spring , FMS EURO body kit + Carbon fiber hood, Falcon RTX 15X6½ + Toyo proxes T1R 195/45R15

It harder to reinstall . One problem with removing the dash is getting to the bolts on top of the dash in the corners up by the windshield. Not enough room for a socket. I bent a 10 MM wrench just for fitting those two bolts. If you arent careful you can break a windsheild.

I had no problem doing this with a u-joint and a small 1/4-inch-drive 10mm socket.

Gotta admit it though Fresh. Its good info. I know itll probably come in handy when I pull the dash in Crusher for some modifacations.

I wouldn't say it hard, but more of a PITA. And by the way, ditto about the U-joint.

There is another alternative to u-joints or vise grips on a socket.

Sears & others sell a 10mm (and plenty of other sizes too) ratcheting box end wrench that has a pivoting head.

There are even 2 versions of that.... one with a "floating" pivot head and another with a "lockable" pivot head. I've used both & found that the locking head is easier to use, as the floating one will often do an undesired pivot away from the bolt head when you put some torque on it (at some angles).

                          Just another option.
