  • Finally Saw One!!!

Yep, after 11 years of owning Festivas, I finally, today, saw my first LX under seat tray. I feel like I've been to the mountain top!!
Okay, maybe it wasn't that impressive, but it was still pretty cool. No luck in talking the guy out of the car or the tray tho. Just thought I'd share.

I bought a pair of Rubbermaid clear plastic pans that do well. Not "cool", but functional.

I know someone who has a Festiva with an underseat tray and he even let me drive it for a while. Didn't even realize that the underseat trays were such a rare item! In fact, I believe it was my idea that he buy this car, right Pu241?

I actually had an underseat tray when I had my first 88LX. And when I bought that car it didn't have the tray but I came across one hidden in a Festiva at Harry's U Pull It. After I got rid of the car I did keep the tray and put it on Ebay hoping to get megabucks for it. I think it brought $35.00. Now that I have another 88LX, I kinda wish that I would have kept it.

I don't know about "your idea" but it was generally discussed and deemed a good thing to do and so we did!
Spoiler (mounted badly), AC, PS, wiper, defrost, and under-seat tray whats not to like?

Uh, well it is an ATX, but we do posses the technology, if not all the parts yet.

Not quite, Festyboy just got an set of seats (fronts and rear split fold-down) in which the rails for the under-seat tray were still attached.
I really think it wouldn't be that difficult to mount a tray to the rails.

My 88 still had the rails attached. I didnt know they were such a big deal at the time so when I pulled the seats out and trashed them, there went the rails.
