I have been know to cause "panic" from two cars away when outside!
I have an old roommate who will swear I caused him to have black lung.
Once the roommate emptied a can of Lysol, in my general direction over the span of an evening.

        Tis not BS!
If he lives my old roommate would regal you with many such stories, some even I have forgotten.
But apparently, I made a lasting impression/scar on him.
I will bet he still tell harrowing stories of his escape to his children, provided the exposure did not render him sterile.

Like this ? The original trays are special, they have notches in them which allow the trays to lock out and in. You can see the springed catches on the rails that make the notches work below. This prevents unwanted opening and closing. Walmart storage tray wont work.

I think if you can get a tray that fits and mounts, I wouldn't worry about un-intended openings/closing due to massive deceleration/acceleration of the festiva.

Interesting to watch the evolution of a thread on here. Started out talking about under seat trays, and went to hell from there.

Fresh, is there any Festiva discussion to be had that you don't have pictures of?

Interesting, the guy that owned the Festiva with the tray didn't even know it was under there for the first two years he had the car. Took him that long to clean out under the seats?

Put some weight in it and it will slide back and forth. Good luck finding a tray that matches the rails. Youd be better off making both the rails and tray if you were going that route.

After I did my Tracer seat swap, I took the underseat tray off the Tracer undercarriage and fitted it to the Festy undercarriage...it wasn't hard to do and I've seen twice as many Tracers with an underseat tray intact as Festivas. (The count is Tracers-2, Festivas-1, if anyone's interested!) The Tracer tray is not as deep as the Festy, though...

If I ever see Tracers with them theyre mine, but have yet to see one!! Are they only in the LTS models or what? Also, why exactly are these tray's so rare if every LX had one?
