dremel works wonders but a hack saw will do the trick as well - I've done the mod both ways

I actually had better luck cutting it with the serrated ball type attachment on my "dremel" than the cutting disk. Just thought I would add this in.

My brother could help with that, he was an engineer for a company that worked with lasers that could bore a hole through 1" steel plate. Unfortunately they were about 20' long and cost millions of dollars. If you have one, the Dremel is easy and accurate.

Whenever I use a saw or a razor knife, I have a mechanics glove on the other hand, holding the part. Learned that lesson the hard way.

^^spoken from experience....with wisdom. Good idea Tom. I always just grab safety glasses and go for it.....maybe next I'll try gloves too.
