Is the AC switch the same size as a defrost, or rear wiper switch?

So far, all my devices are "stealthed switched" using old rear wiper or defrost switches in the dummy emplacements on the left side of the dash.

I was hoping to use the ac switch emplacement for yet another device, will a defrost switch fit?

the ac switch will fit in that little black "block off" plate in your heater controll panal...

Those are easy for me to find. The odds of finding an AC switch are... low.

I can't see why they wouldn't work. The A/C switch is just an on/off switch with a light.

AC switches should be plentiful.
But a rear wiper or defrost switch could work as well depending upon the current the AC switch handles.

I don't think a defrost switch will fit in the A/C switch spot.

the defrost will not fit in the ac switch hole its too big

I was of the opinion he was going to re-route the wires so he could turn the AC on/off from the left hand side of the cluster bezel where most of us do not have anything.
And the wiper and defrost switches should fit.
But you might want to check first.

I'm trying not to have weird switches here & there. As i'm never going to have AC, I figured I could use the switch hole.
