At least the driver took the path of least resistance through the sliding glass door and not through the side of the house!

Ya' know... all he had to do was ask. They could have slid the door open and let him drive it in!! That's the beauty of a festiva...

^^ Yeah, you might be right. It does look like there may be wood running down the middle. It almost looks like he's trying to back out. Is his backup lights on?

              No, on backup lights.
Wrong position for OEM reverse lights.
              Probably reflection from camera flash.

The beauty is that the house probably was damaged more than the Festiva was.

^^^ I would bet the festiva suffered similar damage to a deer strike!
Due to the reinforced frame of the double door lock in the center of the opening.
Note the large section of frame removed from the top of the door frame.

Hmm. If it was tree damage we could ask...Oh, never mind.

Been lucky with deer so far, hit one with Batstiva. Minimal damage, all things considered. Curious what the story is behind that one.

It looks like the distance from the ground to the bottom of the door is at least 8 inchs.

^^ Almost joined your ranks a couple of days ago. Huge freaking maple tree came down. About 2.5 to 3 feet across at the base. Didn't miss my car by nearly enough.

Too bad the Malibu wasn't just a little bit farther down the driveway, don't think the insurance company could say that was road hazard.

Well in my expert opinion (having taken out 3 deer with 2 Festy's and 1 Dodge Colt) I would say that he probably suffered more damage. With the center post I am sure he V'd his front bumper and hood...took out the core support. At least. LOL

I thought he was nice...he never mentioned the Festy tree pots you tried to transplant that Willow into.

Nahhhh...you would have to line up multiple Festy's and then try to lay the tree across their roof so you could transport the fallen tree to a different section of your yard.
