Oh and if you leave from my house at 500pm you can get to Wpg by 830pm the next day. Thats including gas stops and 2 hrs of sleep and the time change.

If you REALLY wanna get the full experience of the Icefield Parkway go from Golden BC to Banff, then drive north through the Rockies to Jasper. That's honestly the most beautiful place I've ever seen.
BE CAREFUL WITH THE NEXT ONE! You really should look for some Tire Chains for the mountain trip!!
