Does anyone know where I can buy new bushings for the shift rods on the '95 Aspire that I just bought? The shifting is really sloppy, and Ford says the bushings and extinct. Any help appreciated.

I can't speak for the Aspire, but the rod bushings on the Festiva are Mazda PN B001-46-062
BTW, most Ford dealers say that about ALL parts for a Festiva or an Aspire even if they are still available.

Yes, I've had it up on a lift and I can see the slop. Are those bushings rubber, bronze, or ???Comment
