There were some carbed b6s in the early 323s. No U.S. Tracers were factory turboed that I heard of.
The old Ford 1.6 in the early Escorts and LN7s, etc. were not Mazda B series based engines. I think they were all or primarily Ford designs, which morphed into the well known Escort 1.9s. They won't bolt up to our Mazda transaxles.
