a junkyard virgin. Made my way to the Upull It today to see what I could find. A friend clued me in to where there was a Festiva. Ended up being 2 there. A manual 92 L and a manual 90 L. I didn't have much time because the yard was closing soon after I got there. I only needed to find a wiper motor but I came out with a new grille, a driver side mirror, and a few other pieces and parts also. Stoked on my find and actually doing the work myself.
Plan to go back in a few weeks. I'll bring my camera to get pix, and make a list of the good parts for anyone that is looking. I'm looking to score the interior out of 1 of them next time. Both had good body panels but unfortunately the hoods and hatches were rusted pretty bad.
I didnt look around much due to time to tell if there were any other cars that could have parts anyone might want. Saw a few Aspires, so I'll look into getting the parts for a brake swap soon as well. Anyway just stoked to have fixed a few small problems with my Festy on my own. Terrible story? Sorry.
