It would be a shame to chop down an original.

    Nice center cap.
Photoshop is your friend. ID also consider round headlights like the cars of that era to fit in the 'chromed' look.

I'd just use the roof ones for the floor unless you're a complete purist at heart.

This R/H outside belt molding has been discounted 23% below MSRP.

Too bad there are no L/H 79s.

    Expensive single roll.

Four rolls of Polyken electrical tape

A few more rolls for a group buy.

I wonder if this stuff could be used for sound deadening?

Single keys usually go for $17 + shipping from Four Green. $70 for a full set.

    Can always use these.

Actually, It's more to prevent rattling while moving down the road. Manufacturers use a lot of wire looms and foam to wrap loose connectors. There are even connectors with barbs. This bracket provides a positive anchor for a future install. All the wires are cut by a machine to make a wiring harness. That's why they won't have a separate wiring harness without radio wiring.

Notice it has a dock for the unused connector on the back of the radio. It becomes live when you turn the radio on. I still haven't figured out what it was for. Power antenna relay?

F3, do you know where I can buy some routing tape? Those pads that stick the wiring down under the carpet.
