  • Will it fit?

    I was digging through my stash of Ford parts last week and found a steering wheel that I had been saving. I cleaned it up and it looks like new. It's off of an early '80s Mustang, I don't think the splined shaft is the same as a Festiva but was wondering if anyone knows for sure? If not, I may put it on my F250.

    Here's a picture of what it looks like, except mine does not have the horn provision;

    If it doesn't work, I think they sell some aftermarket that look just like it at AAP.
    The normal is not always normal... MOST is not ALL... And any job can be hard if you don't have the right tools!!!

      You could rip off your steering wheel and check...only takes a few minutes.

        That would make too much sense........................I know it will fit everything from late 60's Mustangs and late 70's pickups to late 80's Ford cars. Just wondering if someone knew if a Festiva has the same standard shaft size & spline as most Ford cars/trucks or if it's a smaller Metric size. It would save me the trouble of dragging an impact & extension cord through the snow drift in front of my garage!

          impact? you dont need a impact. all you need is a rachet and socket and a little wiggling of the steering wheel.
