  • clicking/tapping noise

Theres a strange noise coming from a little electrical connector to the left of the wiper motor. It starts making the noise when the engine begins to idle down, and goes on and off at different intervals. I dont believe its a bad thing I just cant figure out what the heck it is and why it's doing it. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Is it somehow grounding out? Have you tried drying off the connector. Possibly even covering it with electrical tape?

i havent tried anything....its not like a slight clicking its fairly loud....almost sounds like tapping two spoons together but at a fast rate. One thing is for sure is its not a valve tap or the fuel injection

i think i found where it is on mine....comes from a small connector/box that has wires going to it....dissapears into the firewall however...and it only does it when the engine idles down
