    Hmmmm....what to turbo...?

    I intend to turbo my two fave cars, the '87 323 (dang the cat is back in front of the computer again!) and the blue 1.3 Festy. Which one should I do first? This will require a road trip to Florida in Feb to have Greg do it. Boy, that's gonna be tough going to Florida in Feb, and miss all that great St. Louis winter weather. Oh well, we all have to make sacrifices I guess.

    So anyway, back to the topic at hand. Which one should I turbo first? Let the voting commence!

          Aaaaaaahhhh! NO, you can't do that!!! I see I must find some suitable and hopefully gruesome punishment (still playing Wolfenstein) for you. Must check my map book to see how long it will take to get to Thompson, OH.

            The blue 1.3 Festy. Will you do anything to lower the compression, or just see what it can take?

              Greg recommends 8 lbs of boost to play it safe, with stock compression.

                  I'm pretty sure you can use a early B6 head on a B3 to lower the compression..

                              I have been driving a 89 merc tracer b6 5 speed for the past 2 weeks (very simular to your 323) and i have to say it is a great car, definatly more solid feeling than a festy, but it really feels like a bigger festiva. the car is pretty zippy as-is, it would be awesome with a turbo! I am putting b6t in mine, but i honestly hate to pull the b6 out, it runs awesome.
