  • w00t, I'm such a geek.

I just finished doing a test fitting of the new carputer in the black car.

So far: tiny XP 09 running on a 16gb CF card <- solid state hd on the cheap!
dual monitor is working, usb rtlrtl8187 wifi nic is installed (300mw!!! I can see ALL the wifi networks around!)
ALL 8 usb ports are enabled now that I hacked some holes in the voom pc case to route all the usb headers.
My car pc looks like it's barfing usb cables.

Todo / giving me issues: TV out to monitor #3 tidy up cables, solve weird gps installation borking out. Get touch screen to work, install radio scanner software & interface, install and configure streets and maps '07,
get usb dash keyboard working, get usb touch screen working, configure spare ethernet jack for dhcp server for the playstation 2.

There might be more. The car looks like a spaceship with all the monitors on.
Mon arme a moi, c'est un stylo.

Whoa. That is very nice. All I'd add is a JDM in dash drink cooler and a some kind of burrito warmer and I'd rarely go in the house! I like your screen saver on the bottom.

It's the background, and yes, it's a picture of techno.
