  • 236000 Miles

How many do you have on yours?, I am new to this site, and have heard these little cars were indestructable, with proper maintence, Thats why I purchased mine to drive about 48 miles a day round trip, it keeps the miles off the F-150. Granted my 91's 1.3 engine was totally rebuilt a 202000, but it runs great, no complaints here

Welcome. Sounds like your car if doing great. I believe there was someone on here with 500K+. Well into 200K is not uncommon. Keep the oil changed and keep em cool. they'll go for a long time. Many time they still run good but rust gets outta hand and that is the killer.

A mere 156,000 on my red 88 and a piddly 123,000 on my white 91.

Focustiva: Because I was told it was was impossible to fit a Focus bumper on a Festiva.

Between the wife and I we've probably logged at least 600,000 miles in Festivas since 1993. Only twice did one leave us stranded. Once was my fault for using a plastic in line fuel filter which came apart. The other time I can only explain as a fuel line freeze up. It was a sub zero day and the car just stopped. Went back later to rescue it and it started up and drove home without any repair. Ive had other minor problems on the road but they've never failed to get me home. Treat a festy right and it will pay you back many times over.

my festiva clock reads in the 250k category, but i can honestly say the suspension will be 100% new after the winter down to the brake lines. after i get done with my bpt it will also be 100% so can honestly say i have probably lostened every bolt on the car and reasembled it.

Last time I was up there I almost didn't recognize the place. I still have a friend that lives behind the Veterans Hospital about 3 miles. I try to visit every couple of years. I still miss living there. I lived off 231 north
