  • Motor serial numbers

Has anyone done a study of what the motor numbers were that went into different year Festys/Aspires? In other words, a listing of motor numbers, by year, so we can tell if a motor was swapped in from a different year.

Be nice to do this for transmissions too.

I'll go out tmw and check mine, and list them here. Obviously this list would only work when we know that the original motor is in the car.

Well that's easy. So the motor numbers are all we need to be concerned about.
