  • Today completely sucked..

On the way to school today I saw the tempature gauge slowly creeping up so I pulled over to the side of the road and popped the hood. The radiator sprung a leak and I had lost a bunch of coolant, lucky I had a few jugs of anti freeze in the back of the car, so I got it refilled and drove straight to school. Then I went with some of my friends to get some radiatior stop leak to see if that did anything, still leaks so now the car is stuck at a friends house until I get a new radiator! Dang it..

At least on these cars the radiator isn't that hard to replace.

Go with a radiator from an Automatic if you can. Theyre 2 core.

I know lol, I don't have any good ones I can use, I have two manual ones but those won't work. I'm just going to buy a brand new one so I don't have to worry about it, they're $90 at Napa so I'll prolly get one from there.

I did have something funny happen while I was driving it to my friends house while it was still running fine and hadn't started leaking yet. There was a stupid yellow geo in front of me with performance stickers plastered all over the back windows, and a fart can on it. Every time we came to a stoplight and took off again he was trying to be cool or something and revving the crap out of his car and trying to peel out.. I just laughed..

Does it leak from the core? My A/C condenser rubbed a hole in my core. I opened the hole some with a scribe, put some Devcon in the hole, squeezed it flat with pliers, smeared some Devcon on the outside, let it cure, put it in the car. Hasn't leaked in a year and a half!! If it's leaking at the end tanks...that's another problem.
