  • Do you have a name for your Festiva?

All my cars have had female names, aside to my parent's 2001 Cavalier which I drive every once in a while... I called it the Crapalier.

Aside to that, I've owned, Sally the Saturn, Sabrina the Sunbird, Florence the Festiva and Joleen the Jetta and am currently driving Francesca the Festiva.

    What's your car's name?
I'm here to learn... Teach me

Does DOA count? Actually my Festiva has had all kinds of names in its life. Aptiva, Motorized Roller Skate, Batstiva, The Beast, and now the dead POS in my yard.

Dumb thieves go to prison, smart ones go to work for the Government.

              1988 L - 232K miles Batstiva
              1989 L - 247K miles Slick
              1990 L - 281K miles Orphan Annie
              Let the hoarding begin!!

I've had six other cars. My Festivas are the first ones I've named.

My '89L is "Muttstiva," aka the Mutt. Also, I've used "Cargostiva" because there is no rear seat or trim left in it.

My '93GL is "Luxstiva," since it has ATX and A/C. She's my luxury Festiva. Currently, the A/C doesn't work. Hell, nothing much works right now since I'm still muddling through the engine swap!

                    Karl
'93GL "Prettystiva" ticking B3 and 5 speed, backup DD; full swaps in spring!
                    '91L "AquaMutt" my '91L; B6 swap/5 speed & Aspire brakes, DD/work car
'92L "Twinstiva" 5sp, salvage titled, waiting for repairs...
                    '93GL "Luxstiva," '94 B6 engine & ATX; needs overhauled
'89L "Muttstiva," now a storage bin, future trailer project

Black Death - 1966 Tempest (needed lots of work, but still ate civics like popcorn)

the DOOM - '93 festiva (also dubbed "The Hell Box" after some friends decided I should drive & we should take the Fes.. In orlando 101F with 90% humidity. There was much begging and pleading to go home and switch cars, after 30min)

Gun Boat - '91 Lumina Euro 3.1L, (it was big, and got lots of use for practicing sharpshooting from a moving vehical)

Dreadnaught - '91 Festiva, current car, plans to make it a sleeper.
                            "Nothing's gonna grieve us
                            When we drive Festivas
I could go a hundred miles an hour
Long as I got the Almighty Power

Riding on the dashboard of my car"
