  • Current Powdercoating work.

Me and my friend with a Suzuki Swift GT have started powder-coating random objects. We just started so there is definitely imperfections but as compared to the Festiva Valve cover that I did I think they are getting better.

Toyota CT26 Turbo in Gloss Black:

1JZ Auto Bellhousing, done half in Bright Red (Camera makes it look orange) and half Matte Black.

I'll post more as soon as I powder-coat more stuff. I have the old Festiva intake I Plan on doing and such.
    Current cars:

1993 Ford Festiva 5-Speed - Festiclese III - Cousin of the Banhammer - "The Jalopnik Car"
    1984 Toyota Cressida - 2JZGE Swap, Turbocharged.
2013 Mazda Mazda2 - Exhaust and Wheels (the daily)
    2002 Toyota Tundra - V6/Auto/2WD - The Tow Vehicle.

You need to get your buddy to come out to Bithlo with his suzuki. Also bring it to the Sunshine Meet. I know it's turbo.

We put a conventional oven in my garage to bake in. As long as it gets 400-450 degs its fine.

His car is broken right now. He's currently putting a Suzuki Sidekick 1.6 w/ a 1.3 head on it and low compression pistons for more power, plus he's adapting the Hyundai transmission that they apparently do in Puerto Rico in his car so he can do launches without his glass transmission busting in millions of pieces. He has another Swift GT he daily drives I might be able to convince him to drive out to the Sunshine Meet in that.

He has two, a black '89 and a black '90. Ironically, his dad has a black '91 and his brother has a blue '92. Everyone in thier family drives Geos, Mom has a 4 door sedan, dad has a 3 cylinder hatch along with his GT. Heck even the brother's GF has a red 3 cylinder hatch.
