  • I would like to thank my Festiva's PO for...

I got this idea off of a vw bug forum I'm uhh browsing. Interesting to see the responses both positive and negative!

I would like to thank my PO's for installing a 88 door on a 90 and not caring about the wiring!

Installing a new timing belt and waterpump but installing the timing belt right throwing off the timing!

    Those are few anyways!

Using, abusing, and neglecting my baby!
The normal is not always normal... MOST is not ALL... And any job can be hard if you don't have the right tools!!!

Did you mean installing the belt wrong. :p

I wish the PO of my Festiva would of had the underseat tray and the cargo cover.

...for being too lazy/cheap/ignorant to replace a bad rad fan switch, hacking up the fan wiring, and using 10 gauge wire and a clamp to ground the fan circuit through the seat rail.

                      ...for annually changing the oil.

...for getting an interesting combo of purple gunk and hair on the headliner.

All in all though, it's been a great car and the problems were easily fixed.

For catching the car on fire changing the fuel filter.

And his bang up repair job after the fire.

And for keeping the mice out of the car after he ruined it.

                          1) Using the car as a firewood storage shed.
                          2) Using the car as a trash can.
                          3) Using the car as a mouse nursery.
                          4) Using the car as a bee hive
                          5) Parking it by the beach for 2 years in soft soil so the car could rest it's driver's side rocker in the nice, wet, salty sand (it's a rusty mess).

This doesn't look bad, until you look behind it. It's bad.

...and last, but best, selling it to me for cheap.

for having used mobil 1 its entire life upon my purchasing it at 173k miles.

and for my BP festiva, for having parked it at 115k to buy a newer aspire and then selling it to me for 200$ in great shape when i knocked on their door.
