im not talking to you senior citizens either

i know a handful of us are still leftover from the old boards, but im just curious as to who some of the oldest (site wise) members of the forum are and some join dates!

i think i joined the old site in 02 or 01 and had been a member of the old yahoo group. i tried to do a member search to see join dates but then remembered that in 05 we went to this board and im just too lazy to sift through the old sites memberlistings

who else here is still active that would be considered a forum geezer?

This might be a good start.

My first Ford Festiva meet was in 2001, but was on the yahoo board before that.
Joined here way back before it became the "user friendly experience" it is today, back when just introducing yourself produced a hail of flames that could be felt through your screen! Rejoined later when DJ had it under control.

I remember reading the old board back in 2003 thinking that maybe Festivas weren't all that bad (at that time, I was looking at small "gas mileage" cars). I was a member back in 2005 when I started taking Festivas seriously. I was just a lurker then. I was reading everything I could.

          Here's a screen shot of a page I saved.

What ever happened to the old style site? The one where you could change the site colors? Could it have anything to do with why I had to join all over again?

I was around prior to the boards at FF.com going live, over on the Yahoo Group with BH. I think I even assisted DJ with the setup of the initial board...

I remember being on the old board but have no clue what year I joined. The wife says somewhere around 2003 because that is when I got my first festiva, and I already new about the forum from my brother.
