  • Aspire?

OK, so I posted this here and not in FS, because I'm not actively hunting. But...

My oldest son (12) and I were browsing some car pics, talking about styles and types, and he tells me he really likes tuner cars...

It didn't suprise me, he's never really been interested in my old Fords. But he likes the Festiva, but says it too boxy. So, I showed him a pic of an Aspire. He liked it... I showed him a few modified Aspires... he really liked them! (whew!)

So, he has made the statement that he would like to build an Aspire with me, so...

I am on a casual lookout for a '94-'95 Aspire. Prefer southernly, rust-free car; no unibody/frame damage, cosmetic damage ok/expected; AUTO trans (he's not the most coordinated person, manual trans will come later); PS, A/C and ABS are all desired, but not mandatory; color not an issue.

I don't care if its not running/driving, as I can fix that handily (and maybe even teach him a few things along the way).

Again, I'm not 'hunting' for one, per se. Just on the casual lookout. If anyone easternly sees something that might fit the bill, let me know.

    Thanks!!

oh, and I'm also interested in an SE hatch with wiper. It doesn't need to have the spoiler still attached, as I already have one of those... (and the gauge cluster, and a fog switch...)

Thats cool, wish my dad was more into cars, My grandpa taught me a few things, but most of it I learned from teaching myself while building my festivas, and from working with festivaWES when he came over and helped out with stuff on my green 93'

I think by the time he is old enough to drive he will want a stick. Its a man thing, and he will be closer to manhood by then.

Besides what kinda 'cool' tuner kid wants an auto?
