  • Any aircooled fans?

I have a confession, this isnt easy for me to admit but... there is another. My love for the festiva is eternal, but ive found myself lured by temptation to another simple quirky set of vehicles.

    The aircooled vw's.

    I know, i feel dirty.

Im going to go buy this hopefully tonight:

68 Squareback, im thinking some old beetle steelies and some whitewalls with a solid drop and a roofrack to look kinda like this:

Ill brb, i need to go wash my hands.
1992 Festiva... BP-T, Escort G5MR, no crossmember, aspire brakes, Megasquirt, Toyota COP's, coilovers and 6 puck SPEC clutch!

type 4's ehh??? I love to have a nice notchback, but alas they are too expensive to find around here for a low-no rust version.

              I think so, I don't know the "type#" on VW's very well.

                  ^ That's not a VW Ghia. It'a a Chevy Corvair.

I like pre 67 bugs. I sold my 63 type 1 a couple months ago. I'll see if I have some pics to share.

What's wrong with air-cooled VW's? I'd buy on today if the right one came along. Eventually I'll get one.. there's just something about them.
