  • How much to pay for Civic VX wheels?

I have a line on VX wheels. He's asking "$250 or best offer."

    What should I offer?

Just for the wheels? I've seen them go for $150 with good tires in CL. I would not even pay $50 per wheel, but that's just me.

Wow, and you're from CA, where everything is more expensive!

I may offer $200 then. Any other opinions?

It probably depends on where you are. In my area $250.00 would be a deal.

Yeah, I bet it does depend on the area of the country, like many other things.

Actually, CA may have lower prices on certain stock items due to all the custom stuff and car craziness out there.

Yes, it definitely depends on the market. But I still think $250 for used, stock, honda (enkei I guess) wheels is steep. You are going to have to spend another $200 on tires (unless you have some 13's laying around) and that makes it an expensive set.

Offer 150 with the intention of going as high as 200. If you get them at the lower price. No problem. If you just offer 200 and get em, youll always wonder if you couldnt have gotten them cheaper.

I know they're different, but I just bought a set of honde hx rims with tires for $100. Tires weren't worth keeping though. I'd offer $150 and go from there

                    only two drawbacks:

                    #1 they bend easily

#2 they are hard to center on the hub- vibrations

Oh, I'll rig up a hub ring made out of dried pasta with some Elmer's glue.

Do they make rings, or is it something you'll definitely have to make? I was planning on using the Hx wheels on my festy

I do have studs. So I don't have to worry about the rings at all?
