  • Got an 88 LX

Went and picked this up last night. Has all the bells and whistles. Electric mirrors, 5 speed, tach, int. wipers, alloy wheels, but no underseat tray.

The motor is trashed. The kid who had the car ran it hot and blew the head gasket. He then continued to drive it until it wiped out the bottom end. Still runs but sounds awful.

Thanks to Dean for giving me the heads up on this one. :thumbright:

Onto the pics....(check the SWEET hood ornament!)

Good thing you made sure to mention it DOESN'T have an underseat tray before folks on here go ballistic with that question

Sadly, that's a parts car (no title)

You can't see in the pics but sitting there is also a 95 GT, a 94 V6 car, an 89 LX coupe in the garage, and an 86 GT around back, also out of frame is my 98 GT. I was a Mustang guy long before I got the Festy bug

I hauled a beautiful 90 LX 5.0 to a friends shop for a guy today. People are Fox Body crazy in these parts.

^^ Don't feel bad. I've heard the exact same thing from ALOT of Fox Body owners that sold their ride only to regret it later

I had an '82 GT (the first year, remember "The Boss Is Back!" slogan?). It was black w/black interior. It had the 5.0L HO, which was only rated @ 175HP I think, with a 2V carb and a "marine profile" camshaft. It was a beautiful car and had the TRX wheels and factory rear window louvers. I also had a white '83 GT with TRX wheels and T-Tops. I was just thinking today about selling my '04 GT and trying to find a nice older FOX!

Man thats a dumb question, everyone knows you stash your weed in the seat pocket with the porn mags. The porn distracts the cops and they miss the weed.
