Removing Oil Spots

My neighbours went away for Christmas and were kind enough to let me use their garage during their absence.

Unfortunately, the Festiva I'm working on leaks oil. It managed to put 2 large blotches and a few small dots on their driveway in the short time I had the car there while opening the garage door.

Their driveway didn't have any oil on it before, and I'm sure that the 2 larger spots will be noticed.

Do any of you guys have a good method for removing the oil, or at least making the spots a little less noticeable without taking off 2 inches of concrete or sandblasting the area?

I was smart enough to grind cat litter on the oil spots while they were still wet, but it hasn't asborbed all the oil.

Please help!

I use coke on my driveway after I make oily messes. Chase it with some baking soda and water, and it usually seems to go away.

try some oil eater(biodegradable), scrub it in with a hard brush, then rinse & repeat

Dawn dishsoap is what I use.

Sadly, if the concrete is porous or not sealed it will always be there.

Tide has worked well for me just wet the floor were stain is scrub tide in let set 15 minutes and hose off.

Metso beads or soda ash ,or oakite, are a guarantee just don't get it on your hands , you prolly got it cleaned by now

I use Castrol SuperClean in the gallon jug. Pour some on, let it set for a spell, scrub it with a stiff brish, then hose it out. Keeps my concrete pearly white!
