Saturn Rotor Help!

Hey, Gurus! My wife drives a 2002 Saturn SL1, and it's screaming at her. Wear pins, but bad enough to annoy me to the point of wanting to do more than replace. I want Red Stuff pads (or a much less expensive but comparable brand), and whatever's best for the rear drums (or disc conversion would be awesome) and my biggest question is, "What is a good slotted rotor to buy without breaking the bank?" I know it may be overkill, but with the most precious cargo that car could ever carry behind the wheel, I'd rather my lady stop than go, and well.
