  • Bought a '95 Aspire SE (large pics, not 56K friendly)

I found this on CL last week and was finally able to close the deal Sunday 041110. Tell me what you think!

This is the first time I've ever seen an SE...

    It's a 5spd, 166,xxx miles, paint is a bit faded, but I'm already polishing/buffing it up to a shine.

I intend on putting some miata daisy rims on it. NO RUST!! YEAH!!!

I'd really like to find a sliding rag top and put it this car! I may buy one off slidingragtop.com.

FYI: I'm looking for another driver seat. If anyone sees one, please PM me!

Just thinking out loud.... how cool would it be to put a BP motor in this car?!?! Then I'd have a BP-SE!!!

Does need some work, but it's drivable and functional.

Love it! You gotta love how easily faded, but fixed with wax aspire red is! And that SE hatch ROCKS! How much did you have to give for it?

Yeah, those covers kill me. LOL I actually have the Aspire hubcaps from the '97 model year that I plan on repainting and putting on there. Later, the miata daisies...

I paid $850 for it. Which was much more than I wanted to pay for it, but the kid who was selling it needed the money to buy his next car. So, I we agreed on that price instead of $900.

It does need some work. Possibly a new clutch if an adjustment can't be made. And maybe some steering/suspension components: ie: tie rods, control arms, shocks... CV axles were in good shape.

That's a sweet ride man! The wing totally changes the look of the car just like it does on a Festy :thumbright:
